32nd Annual Links to Literacy

Please join us for the 32nd annual golf tournament and online auction to support literacy and educational programming at Hawaiʻi’s 51 public libraries.

Golf Tournament

We are excited to announce the 32nd annual Links to Literacy golf tournament will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026 at Hoakalei Country Club. Designed by “The Big Easy” Ernie Els, this course will challenge the most skilled golfers, but still be enjoyable for recreational players.

Tournament Details

  • Monday, November 9th
  • Hoakalei Country Club
  • Check in beginning at 8:30 a.m. • Shotgun start at 11:00 a.m.
  • Three (3) Person Teams • Scramble Format

Tournament Highlights

  • Million Dollar Hole-in-One • 32 Players have a chance to drive for $1,000,000.00
  • Four $10,000 Hole-in-One Prize Holes on the course
  • Excellent Contests, Food & Beverages throughout the course

Alongside the golf tournament, we will host the Links to Literacy Online Auction. We kindly ask for in-kind donations, gift cards & vouchers, experience packages, wine & spirits, room nights, and more.

The Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i is a nonprofit organization whose primary objective is to maintain free public libraries in the State of Hawai‘i, to promote extension of library services throughout the State of Hawai‘i and to increase the facilities of the public library system of Hawai‘i by securing materials beyond the command of the ordinary library budget. Other objectives are to focus attention on libraries and to encourage and accept, by bequest or gift, donations of books, manuscripts, money, and other appropriate material that can enrich the cultural opportunities available to the people of Hawai‘i.
