Major Activities: As a non-profit community service association, we administer funds to support the Salt Lake/Moanalua Public Library and help improve its services and resources. Events at the Salt Lake/Moanalua Public Library.
Membership: We need new members! Dues are $5 per year. To become a member, complete the form in the branch at the Salt Lake/Moanalu Public Library and turn it in with the dues at the circulation counter. As a member, you not only have the satisfaction of imporving the education of the people of Hawai‘i but also shape policy and procedure of the association through participation at quarterly meetings.
Donations: Donations may be made to the Friends of the Salt Lake/Moanalua Public Library either by giving your contribution to the circulation counter or putting it in the black donation box near the community bulletin board. As an affiliate of the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i, a 501 (c)(3) organization recognized by the IRS, your donation is tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
