The basic needs of the Hawai‘i State Public Library System (people, place, and collections) are provided by the Hawai‘i State Legislature, but private support is essential for funding additional needs and expansion.
FLH supports all of Hawai‘i’s 51 Public Libraries as the primary funding source for Statewide programming at the libraries, grants to librarians, growing a network of local Friend group support, library science scholarships, and more . . .
Together, FLH, local Friends, and our Sponsors, work to enrich the cultural opportunities available to all the people of Hawai‘i @ your library.
