Summer Specials GALORE!

Bill’s Bookmobile, the FLH year-round bookstore, has a large selection of books, music, and movies at reasonable prices. All proceeds support Hawaii’s 51 public libraries.

The treasured, gently used books at easy-on-the-pocket prices available at the Friends of the Library annual booksale are now available all year long. You can create the excitement of discovering a new favorite author or finding a long-sought-after book anytime, while enjoying the satisfaction of supporting the Hawai`i State Public Library System.

Bill’s Bookmobile, a year-round bookstore, opened on January 13, 2007, at 690 Pohukaina St. The store, a long-held dream of the Friends, has become a reality through donations from the family and friends of the late Bill Harper. Bill was an avid reader and lover of books, and this project honors his memory.
