"The Amazing Magical Bubble Show" will be presented by the Aloha Clowns to celebrate the 2012 HSPLS Children's Summer Reading Program at four Oahu public libraries from May 31 to July 5. Admission is free.
The Aloha Clowns will offer a highly-interactive and educational experience for children of all ages. Learn how to hold a bubble in your hand, bounce a bubble like a volleyball, make a square bubble, and watch in amazement as the Aloha Clowns create a giant bubble, big enough to put someone inside! All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
Infants to children entering grade 6 this fall are eligible to register for the five-week summer reading program. Participants who visit their local library and read at least one book per week are eligible to receive a free weekly reading incentive, while supplies last. "Dream Big READ!" is the theme of this year's program which will encourage young readers to revel in the wonders of night - dreams, lullabies, bedtime and campfire stories, as well as ghosts, nocturnal animals, and star-gazing!
