Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library will offer a free program for adults on estate planning in April 2012:
* April 25 (Wednesday), 5:30 p.m. in Magazine Room - "Why Estate Plans Fail? The 15 Vital Areas of Estate Planning." Frank Fujishige, a partner in the Origin Financial Group, will discuss the 15 areas that are essential in designing an estate plan: Supplemental Planning, Settlement, Cost, Money Management, Guardianship, Distribution, Asset Protection, Estate Reduction and Freezing, Asset Allocation and Conservation, Income Tax Planning, Social Capital, Insurance Planning, Retirement Distribution, Business Succession, and Medicaid Planning. Fujishige has 30 years of experience in the estate planning field.
Both programs are one-hour in length and will include a question-and-answer session. Contact the Library as soon as possible if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
